# Inspiration

Inspiration is a workspace swipe file for posts, links, screenshots, hooks, ads, flyers,
and rough ideas you may want to use later.

## Save an inspiration item

Paste source text or a public link, upload a screenshot, or write a short note about why
the item matters. Add tags when they will make the item easier to find later.

Saved items keep source context and media together. You can search and filter the library,
then move an item through **saved**, **drafted**, **used**, or **archived** as the work
progresses.

## Inspiration Briefs

When the source is a competitor post, screenshot, ad, or flyer, Vuti extracts the marketing
strategy instead of copying the execution. A useful brief records:

- the hook, offer structure, visual pattern, and call to action;
- a differentiation checkpoint for how your version will be distinctly yours;
- any missing business facts Vuti needs before drafting honestly;
- the outcome to track if you use the idea.

Confirm the differentiation direction before Vuti creates posts from the source. The
resulting drafts retain their inspiration link, which makes the creative decision easier
to review later.

## Continue in Vuti

Open a saved item in [Vuti](https://www.vuti.io/docs/vuti) to inspect it, answer the brief's questions, and create
an original draft or campaign. Vuti can also save and update inspiration conversationally
when you provide a link, screenshot, or idea in chat.

For recurring source monitoring, use the **Competitor watch** template in
[Automations](https://www.vuti.io/docs/autopilot).
