# Planning a content calendar

The planner converts a marketing goal into a calendar. It is designed for campaigns,
recurring visibility, and weekly operating rhythm.

[Open Calendar](https://www.app.vuti.io/calendar)

- Choose platforms, date range, cadence, business goal, and any special notes.
- Vuti creates draft slots with platform-specific copy, timing, hashtags, and image briefs.
- The plan is editable after generation, so treat it as a strong first draft rather than a
  locked schedule.
- Performance context can help future planning prioritize content patterns that have worked
  before.

## Before you generate a plan

- Fill in [workspace settings](https://www.app.vuti.io/settings?tab=profile) so Vuti knows the
brand, audience, offer, and visual direction.
- Connect the platforms you want in the plan from
  [Connected Accounts](https://www.app.vuti.io/settings?tab=channels).
- Save a [voice profile](https://www.app.vuti.io/settings?tab=assistant) if tone matters.
- Decide the campaign goal before choosing cadence. For example: book calls, announce a
launch, stay visible, drive newsletter signups, or educate buyers.

## What the planner creates

- A set of calendar slots across the selected date range.
- Platform-specific copy and calls to action.
- Suggested publish timing.
- Hashtags where they make sense.
- Image briefs that can be used for generated creative.

## After generation

Open the [review queue](https://www.app.vuti.io/review) and work through each
slot. Edit anything that needs more context, approve the posts that are ready, and schedule
only the content you would be comfortable publishing.

## Planning tips

- Smaller plans are easier to review. Start with one or two weeks if the brand is new.
- Give Vuti a specific business goal instead of "make social content."
- Add notes about launches, events, promotions, or topics to avoid.
- Use analytics from published posts to improve the next plan.

## Plan a campaign in stages

In Calendar, choose **New campaign**. Set your goal, platforms, audience, offer,
constraints, dates and cadence. A campaign can cover up to six weeks and 40 posts.
The credit quote appears before each generation step.

Vuti first prepares a campaign direction using your brand, Catalog, saved voice,
reviewed content and available calendar and performance context. Review the audience,
promise, sequence and assumptions. Edit the direction and save it, or choose
**Create campaign drafts** when it is ready.

The drafts receive a campaign-wide editorial review before entering your review
queue. The campaign panel shows progress, review notes, copy and visual briefs with
relevant library references. You can leave the page and return while work continues.
If a step fails, **Retry unfinished step** keeps completed work and shows the remaining
credit quote.

To revise several posts, select unapproved drafts and describe the shared change.
Inspect the current and proposed copy, then choose **Apply reviewed changes**.
Approved, scheduled and published posts are protected. Revisions still need approval.

The **Campaign learning** readout shows review progress and measured results after
publishing and platform sync. Applied revision feedback guides future campaigns.
Small performance samples are labelled, and engagement is not a measure of bookings
or sales.
